Use Proposia in ChatGPT and Claude
Proposia works inside ChatGPT and Claude. Ask in plain language to search our daily-updated database of research funding calls, then start, track and read grant proposals in your Proposia account without leaving the conversation.
- In Claude, open Customize → Connectors, search for Proposia and select Connect. If it is not listed yet, choose Add custom connector and enter
https://api.proposia.ai/mcp. - Turn Proposia on in a conversation and ask about funding calls. Searching calls needs no account.
- The first time you ask for something that uses your account, Claude shows a Connect card. Sign in to Proposia, review the access on the consent screen and select Allow. Claude then continues the same request.
Claude Code can connect with claude mcp add --transport http proposia https://api.proposia.ai/mcp.
- In ChatGPT, open Plugins, find Proposia and select Install plugin, then Continue to Proposia.
- Sign in to Proposia and select Allow on the consent screen.
- In a chat, choose Proposia from the + menu and ask your question. In ChatGPT you can also attach your CV, papers or a call document to a proposal request.

Starting a proposal uses one credit from your existing Proposia allowance, exactly as on proposia.ai. Credits cannot be bought from inside the assistant; your account page lists the available plans.
Proposia receives only what the assistant sends for your request: your search terms, the research description or documents you provide for a proposal, and your instructions. We never receive your chat history. See our privacy policy.
To disconnect, remove Proposia from the assistant's connector or plugin settings. Your proposals stay in your Proposia account.
