Provides support to recruit or retain experienced clinical trialists, e.g., oncologists in any specialty, to lead cancer clinical research programs in rural and underserved communities in the State of Texas. Rural and underserved counties may be identified via web-based tools from the US Department of Health and Human Services. Award: Up to $2 million for Assistant Professors, $2.5 million for Associate Professors, and $3 million for Professors over a 5-year period.
